About Us

The Agriculture Council of Saskatchewan Inc. (ACS) is a unique, member-based organization. Our members represent Saskatchewan’s agriculture and agri-food sector, from primary production and value-added processing to research and market development. Guided by our member organizations, ACS has become a leader in identifying issues and providing collaborative solutions.

ACS is designed to position Saskatchewan’s agriculture and agri-food industry at the forefront of innovation to provide solutions to industry issues and capture market opportunities. Our programs provide funding, training and guidance that bring broad benefits across Saskatchewan’s agriculture and agri-food sector.

The mission of ACS is to provide leadership and programming to advance the agriculture and agri-food sector, contributing to a healthy Saskatchewan community. ACS delivers programs funded through Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada that help position Saskatchewan’s and Canada’s agriculture and agri-food industries as leaders, placing them on the leading edge of both domestic and global marketplaces.

ACS has programs targeted at the agriculture and agri-food communities, including the Saskatchewan Agri-Food Value Chain Initiative, the Food Professionals Management Program, and the Agriculture Mentorship Initiative. ACS also administers the Levy Central program for eight Saskatchewan and Manitoba commodity organizations.
