Advancing Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food Saskatchewan (ACAAFS)
ACAAF was a five-year, $240 million program designed to position Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector at the leading edge to capture new opportunities. Funding for the ACAAF Program was provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC).
Saskatchewan's share of the ACAAF program ($3.7 million annually) wass delivered by the Agriculture Council of Saskatchewan Inc. (ACS).
ACS is no longer accepting applications to the ACAAFS program. The program has been replaced by the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP). Please click here for more information on CAAP.
Projects under ACAAFS must be completed by December 31, 2013.
Canadian Adaptation and Rural Development in Saskatchewan (CARDS)
The Canadian Adaptation and Rural Development in Saskatchewan (CARDS) Program was the predecessor to the ACAAFS program. Funding for the CARDS program was provided by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
CARDS funding has supported over 900 projects for a commitment of over $20 million. This funding has leveraged more than $50 million in partner contributions to the projects.
CARDS has provided over $20 million to over 900 projects in Saskatchewan since its inception in 1995, leveraging total funding of over $46 million.
ACS is no longer accepting applications to the CARDS program. The program has been replaced by the Canadian Agricultural Adaptation Program (CAAP). Please click here for more information on CAAP.
