Project Title: Pre-Cooked Steak Program

 

Description: Currently Sask bison is shipped to the US, Europe and the Middle East but the industry could suffer drastic financial consequences if one of these markets were to fail. As such the bison industry needs to develop additional markets for bison in Canada. Consumer demands today are pushing for value added healthy and quick meal solutions. This project focuses on developing a solution to a healthy and highly nutritional pre-cooked bison steak program.
