Pillar Three: Sharing Information to Advance the Sector

Funding provided under Pillar III is intended to assist the agriculture and agri-food sector in gathering, analyzing and sharing information that will strengthen the sector’s ability to participate in policy dialogue and shape the future of the sector. Special consideration is given to projects that address sector-identified information needs or gaps that are not covered under other programming.

Eligible funding requests include:

• Projects and activities that will assist the industry to participate in the policy dialogue.
• Projects that collect, analyze and share information throughout the sector, assisting the sector to proactively develop responses based on new information.
• Projects that assist with the dissemination of information with other sectors, e.g. health, environment and/or transportation, etc.
